Schedule Here! Get your RED HOT Schedule Here!

For those of you that like to follow along, we present the newest bit of scheduling….

Our weekly dose of Doctor Who with tweet along continues every Friday Night at midnight. This week’s Friday Night Who selection for 5/20 is the Matt Smith episode “Asylum Of The Daleks”.

TTV #282 will be all our experiences from Planet Comicion and possibly excerpts from The Great Traveling The Vortex Quiz Show!

As a special Side Trip, we’ll present the audio in full from our panel at Planet Comicion, “Classic Doctor Who with Jeremy Bulloch”. Jeremy of course played Tor in The Space Museum, and Hal the Archer in The Time Warrior.

FINALLY released in North America, Friday Nigh Who on 5/27 is “The Underwater Menace”

We’ll review that story on TTV #283.

FNW 6/4 is “Time And The Rani”

and TTV #284 has Shaun’s adventures in Omaha at British Fest the Trilogy, and more Seventh Doctor and Mel action in Big Finish #70 Unregenerate!

Powerful and creepy, our offering for the Friday Night Who tweet-a-long on 6/11 is “Midnight”.

Which sets us up nicely to go Beyond The Doctor: David Tennant – What We Did On Our Holiday. We’ll also talk local cons Smallville and Crypticon in episode #285 of Traveling The Vortex.

FNW 6/18 is “The Moonbase”.

Episode #286 is very lunar themed, covering both the TV Comic Moon Landing, and our Book Review of Lethbridge-Stewart: Moon Blink by Sadie Miller.

Another new to us story on 6/24 for FNW, “Masque Of Mandragora”.

Which we’ll review in TTV #287.

“The King’s Demons” starring fifth Doctor Peter Davision kicks of July (7/1) for Friday Night Who.

In TTV #288 we’ll take a look at Titan Comics 8th Doctor Mini series (#1-5), and Big Finish #81 The Kingmaker

FNW 7/8 is Spearhead From Space (Hard to believe we’ve not done an official FNW with that one yet, right?)

But since we’ve already reviewed Spearhead, TTV #289 will instead be devoted to the eighth Doctor Paul McGann and his Big Finish 8th Doctor Adventures Season 2: #3 Brave New Town, #4 The Skull Of Sobek.

Current Doctor Peter Capaldi graces our screens for Friday Night Who on 7/15 in “Robot Of Sherwood”.

And TTV #290 has Titan Comics 12th Doctor #2.1 – #2.5, and Big Finish #84 The Nowhere Place.

Coming up beyond that?   That would be telling.

Episode 72 – Marmite and the Rani

In this week’s episode we explore another Adversary Archive, this time with a look at The Rani. We review two classic stories, first the Sixth Doctor’s encounter with The Rani in The Mark of the Rani. Then we tackle the Seventh Doctor’s first story in Time and the Rani.

Then stick around after our portion for a look at the music of these two stories, brought to you by Dr. Phil from Adventures In Time, Space and Music Podcast.

Also, a look at this week’s news, and lots of feedback from our listeners this week.

Enjoy!

As mentioned in Mark’s feedback, the Marmite Rice Cakes!

The last Friday Night Who of May, (5/25) concludes the Dalek War box with Jon Pertwee in “Planet Of The Daleks”.

And beyond May?  Well, if all goes well expect a discussion on all things Shada, the return of Tom Baker to the schedule, our first Doctor Who book reviews, and more…
