Episode 449 – Mired With Politics

In this week’s episode, we embark on a new journey in the Big Finish Audios. This time we examine the first series of Gallifrey stories with Weapon of Choice and Square One. Both of these audios feature familiar characters, Lady President Romana, Leela, and not one, but two K-9s.  Hear what we think of these Doctor Who spinoff stories.

Plus, we discuss a few news items from the week.

Enjoy!

Happy Birthday, Lalla Ward!

Lalla Ward of course played opposite Tom Baker’s fourth Doctor as Princess Astra in “The Armageddon Factor” and later became Romanadvoratrelundar or Romana for short. Often referred to as Romana II, (since she replaced Mary Tamm) a role she held from “Destiny Of The Daleks” up through “Warrior’s Gate”.  Today is her 61st birthday.

Episode 27 – Independence of the Daleks

After a few days off for the holiday, we’ve returned with our latest episode.

Also, in this episode an update on this weeks Friday Night Who – or Friday Night Who: Thursday Edition.

And of course, your feedback.
