Regarding Friday Night Who
I’ve seen more than a few “AH!” moments in our feedback/comments page regarding the phenomenon that is Friday Night Who, and thought I should take a moment to fill in some of our newer listeners on just what exactly the heck this thing is.
Set the Waybac machine for… well longer ago than I care to think about. Doctor Who is on in reruns on local public television station KCPT out of Kansas City. Every week without fail, every Friday at midnight they would broadcast a classic Who story in omnibus format. And every week without fail I was in my living room watching. (I didn’t have a lot going on Friday nights.)
So when the podcast came alone we thought it would be cool to relive those days, by watching an episode of Doctor Who every Friday Night at midnight. We synch up our copies, press play at midnight and watch together, but with the added fun of tweeting along to the episode. It’s great fun and a chance to interact with us and other listeners over something we all love. So if you’ve got a twitter account, join us.
