We’ve done Flicks with Friends here at Traveling the Vortex, and Brittany over at the Five(ish) Fangirls Podcast hosted Disney With Friends…so we decided to team up for a tweet along  build up to Avengers: Age of Ultron!

Join us in this Friday Night Who like festivity where everyone Saturday we tweet along to a Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie. We will press play at 9 PM CST and use the Hashtag #MarvelWithFriends and whichever movie we are watching.

And for personal reference, listed is where Agents of SHIELD falls in the timeline, but we won’t be tweeting along to those.

X-Men Tweet-along

Sorry we’ve been delayed in getting around to it this month…you know life gets in the way…or maybe vacation. With Keith’s excursion to St. Louis and another Flicks With Friends goer (and recent Apes convert) heading to Disney with his family and not returning until 4/18

March’s Flicks With Friends

After much interest in continuing last month this month with shall continue with the Planet of the Apes theme with the next film Beneath the Planet of the Apes!

If you want to join and don’t own this one don’t fret! It is available to stream on Amazon Prime.

Flicks With Friends – 11/5/13

This month’s Flicks With Friends is the annual classic V FOR VENDETTA, of course screening on Tuesday, November 5th, at 11pm.  Follow @vortexglenn, @VortexKeith, @vortexshaun and @travelvortex for the live tweet-a-long on twitter, and look for the #VForVendetta and #FlicksWithFriends hashtags.  Reminder that this is post setting the clocks back, so it will be Central Daylight Time.

UPDATE – Flicks With Friends – 10/30/13

Young Frankenstein 001Update for this months Flicks With Friends…. YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. After a disastrous aborted attempt on Saturday, it has been rescheduled for this week.

Being Halloween time, we thought it only fitting for this classic Mel Brooks comedy to be the one to honor the occasion.  Our selected broadcast time is the day before Halloween, Wednesday, October 30th at 11pm CST.

Traveling The Vortex Presents… Flicks With Friends

Continuing on in the tradition of Friday Night Who, and building on the success of last month’s Flash Gordon Tweet-a-long, we’ve decided this weekend to host another one, and give it a catchy name: Flicks With Friends!

This Saturday, September 14th at 11pm central we’ll be synchronizing our copies of the 1985 cult classic who-done-it, Clue.  If you’ve seen this slice of fried gold, you know how good it is and know you cant miss it, if you’ve never seen it, boy are you in for a treat!
