Doctor Who Adventure Calendar Day 3

The Doctor Who Adventure Calendar will not be limiting it’s self to Christmas special teases. Today’s content is an interview with Steven Moffat on the Daleks.

From the website: “To celebrate the Doctor’s oldest alien adversaries we’re beginning a short series of videos which feature Doctor Who’s lead writer and Executive Producer, Steven Moffat, discussing their history. He selects a number of stories that are amongst his favourites and the most significant Dalek adventures, beginning, appropriately enough, with the Daleks’ debut from December, 1963.

He reviews stories stretching right back to the First Doctor era.”

Episode 101 – Blathering Blathereen

In this week’s episode we take a departure from Doctor Who (well, somewhat) to review the third season of The Sarah Jane Adventures. Our review of the whole series, story by story.

Also, our reaction and input in news out this week about Jenna-Louise Coleman and how her character in Asylum of the Daleks relates (or doesn’t relate rather) to the rest of Series 7.

And of course your feedback. Enjoy!

Doctor Who Photo Challenge Winds Down

We’ve reached the end (well, tomorrow) and once again wanted to thank everyone who participated and we hope you had fun with this. We liked it enough to do it again soon, (perhaps not over the busy holiday season). Again, only the pics posted to Instagram can been seen above, but we’ve seen them on Facebook and Twitter as well. And if you still want to play? Why not do it again in December?  We’re pretty lax on the rules, if you have missed out and want to join, by all means jump in now, or start at the beginning and post a bunch of photos to get caught up!

The rules are simple: Starting NOV 1st, and running for 30 days, we’ll have a new topic each day.  You’ll take a picture that best represents that topic for you (be creative!) and post it (we’ll be using Instagram–yes, even the neanderthal–but feel free to use Twitter or Facebook, really any social media site). Be sure to use the tag #DoctorWhoPhotoChallenge,  that way everyone can follow your photos.  You are allowed to take pictures of pictures (dvd and cd covers and what not) but please, take the picture yourself (even if it’s a picture of a screen).

The idea is to post a new photo everyday, but obviously, life gets in the way of fun sometimes, so if you get behind, just take two or three photos and post them for the days you missed.  The categories are posted here: but we’ll also send out daily reminders so you can keep up.  Be creative, have fun, and let’s see your pictures!
